There is a dedicated community of modders who have attempted to "port" Tekken 6 to the PS2.

Long-time lurker, first-time poster. I know Tekken 6 dropped on PS3 and Xbox 360 back in 2007/2008, but I’m still on a budget and rocking my fat PS2. I saw a copy of "Tekken 6" for PS2 at a local flea market last week. The cover art looked legit (Jin in his white pants doing a roundhouse), so I grabbed it for $15.

The disc is black (classic PS2) and the menu is surprisingly clean. No fancy CGI intro like Tekken 5 had—just a quick montage of in-engine fights set to a heavy metal track. That should have been my first warning.

Honestly, play this mode once for the trophy (wait, PS2 doesn't have trophies...). Play it for the "lore." Then never touch it again.
