"Okay," she breathed.
"You're an idiot," she whispered, but there was no bite in it. Her hand came up to cover his on her cheek.
Elias nodded. "Okay."
Elias let out a breath he seemed to have been holding for days. His other hand came up to wrap around her waist, pulling her fully into the apartment, out of the hallway, kicking the door shut behind them with his foot.
"Then stay," he murmured against her lips. "Just one more night. We can figure out the rest tomorrow."
