In recent years, the state has been promoting eco-tourism as a means to conserve its natural resources while also generating employment opportunities for local communities. This paper critically analyzes Kerala's eco-tourism initiatives and their impact on sustainable tourism in the state. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study assesses the effectiveness of eco-tourism in promoting environmental conservation, community development, and economic growth.
