A group of Spearmen set to "Aggressive" stance can pin down expensive Swordsmen or Horse Archers while your archers do the real damage. Send them ahead of your main infantry to place ladders against walls, allowing Macemen and Swordsmen to bypass gatehouses. Cost: 30 Gold (Trained at the Tunneler's Guild) Role: Undermining and collapsing enemy wall foundations.
