If you need video editing software but cannot afford the Adobe Creative Cloud subscription, you have excellent options that are legal, modern, and secure.

If your computer is very old (Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM), use Shotcut or Lightworks (Free version) . They run on old hardware but support modern files. Adobe no longer supports CS3 (released in 2007)
