When browsing the internet, you may occasionally need to route your traffic through a proxy server. This is common for enhancing privacy, bypassing geographical restrictions, or accessing the internet within a corporate network. Opera for Android and iOS does have a dedicated proxy menu. Instead, it follows the system proxy (if the device is configured with a global proxy, e.g., via Wi‑Fi settings). Alternatively, you can use a VPN‑like feature called Opera Max (data saving) – but that is not a true custom proxy.
