The defining characteristic of the Ill-Borne is the oppressive density of its construction. Unlike the wide, echoing halls of dwarven mines or the majestic caverns of dragons, the Ill-Borne tunnels are claustrophobically tight. They twist at odd, acute angles, forcing taller humanoids to stoop or crawl, rendering swords and shields cumbersome liabilities.
