The episode does a masterful job of juxtaposing the high-stakes action of the main plot with the existential crisis occurring in the B-plot. While Frank tries to navigate the political disaster with the "supermarket" delegations, the real emotional weight falls on the secondary characters. The resolution of the Barry/Taco storyline is particularly dark, even by Seth Rogen standards, delivering a twist that is equal parts horrifying and bizarrely heartwarming. The texture work on the food characters remains impressive; from the grease on Sammy Bagel Jr. to the translucency of Brenda’s bun skin, the Blu-Ray transfer ensures that every food particle is rendered in sharp detail.
