Instead of hiding, Jaggi channels his old Kabaddi spirit. He decides he won't run this time. He rallies the youth of the village—who had been rendered hopeless by drugs and unemployment. The climax isn't just a fight between Jaggi and Rana; it’s a symbolic match of village-level Kabaddi (played in the mud) turned into a street fight for justice.
The film opens in the dusty lanes of a border village in Punjab, 2014. Jaggi is a passionate Kabaddi player with a bright future. His brother, however, gets entangled in the local drug trade run by the ambitious young goon, Rana. When Jaggi tries to intervene, a scuffle breaks out, and Jaggi accidentally kills Rana’s brother in self-defense.
