If you add a drive that already has files (e.g., from an old PC):
The Drive Appears in Disk Management but Reads "Not Initialized"
Windows will automatically suggest the next available letter in the alphabet (such as D, E, or F).
Locate a flat, wide SATA power connector coming from your computer’s Power Supply Unit (PSU) and plug it into the corresponding power port on the drive.
