If you have previously blocked a user in Google Chat and wish to resume communication, you can unblock them directly within the Chat app or via your Google Account settings.
Google Chat settings are shared across Gmail and the standalone Chat app – changes in one reflect in the other. For Google Workspace accounts, your admin may restrict some chat features.
