For much of the season, Mahone was the unstoppable force pursuing the brothers. In "Sona," Michael finally outmaneuvers him. By planting drugs on the boat Mahone intended to use for his escape, Michael ensures Mahone is arrested by Panamanian authorities. Mahone tackles him
The episode also solidified T-Bag (Robert Knepper) as the show's "cockroach," showing him once again surviving the unsurvivable and ending up in Sona right alongside his enemies.
