The film begins with a group of survivors, including Dawn (played by Adrienne C. Moore), Megan (played by Nancy McCormack), and Dr. Henry (played by Frank Henenlotter), who find themselves trapped in the flooded town. As they navigate through the infected-filled streets, they discover that the parasite, known as the Amphibian DNA, has been released into the water supply, causing the town's residents to transform into terrifying creatures.
