Verse 109 uses a powerful metaphor: even if the ocean were ink for the words of Allah, the ocean would be exhausted before the words of His Lord would come to an end.
The closing segment strips away the distractions of life. In Verse 103, Allah issues a heartbreaking summary for those who chased the wrong goals: “Say, [O Muhammad], ‘Shall we [disbelievers] inform you of the greatest losers in their deeds?’” These are people who thought they were doing good, whose efforts were wasted because they lacked the core connection to their Creator.
