Sheldon Cooper, age nine, sat at the kitchen table, his notebook open to a page titled “The Physics of Family Dynamics.” His pencil moved with the precision of a particle accelerator, sketching vectors that tried to quantify love, discipline, and the inevitable chaos that followed a family of four. He was so engrossed that he didn’t hear the front door swing open.
