“The Eye Horror” (TEH) refers to a specific, recurring sensory-cognitive phenomenon observed in 0.003% of the global population. Unlike standard ophthalmologic conditions, TEH is characterized by the subject’s perception of a sentient presence within their own visual field. Subjects report that their eyes no longer function as passive receivers of light, but as active “gateways” through which an external, hostile consciousness observes them.
