"No! The ghosts in the septic tank are overloading the frame buffer!" Jay shouted. He looked at the screen. The video of the cholera ghosts was getting closer to the 'camera' view, their pixelated faces stretching in unnatural, glitchy ways. If the file corrupted, he’d lose the episode forever.
"It's working, Pete," Jay said, rubbing his temples. "It’s called FFmpeg. It’s a framework for handling multimedia. I’m telling the computer to take the video stream from this file, translate the visual data into a format the TV understands, and compress the audio so it doesn't sound like it’s coming through a tin can."
