Verdict: Pay-to-Win. The summer level is visually impressive, especially the beach biomes, but the physics engine is broken. In the South, the humidity setting is absurd; stepping outside feels like walking through soup. The "Air Conditioning" item is mandatory here, creating a massive barrier to entry if you’re outdoors. The Southwest map is basically unplayable without hydration buffs; you feel like you’re standing in an oven. Good for the "Barbecue" side quests, but the mosquitoes are an annoying enemy spawn that nobody asked for.

If you play on the "California" server, the developers actually patched the seasons out entirely. It’s just one long, repetitive summer. Boring, but reliable.
