Entering full GPS coordinates on a standard digital clock interface is impractical. To solve this, AlFajr pre-programs the device with a database of major cities. Each city is assigned a specific reference number (the City Code). When a user selects a code, the clock retrieves the hard-coded coordinates for that location to begin its calculations.
