It’s during this walk that disaster strikes. A sudden, violent storm blows through. For the living, it’s just rain. But for the ghosts, the wind whips through the walls. In the chaos, Isaac attempts to hide under a tarp that has blown loose—only to realize too late that it’s a "trap." The tarp is actually a specialized paranormal containment sheet (left behind by a previous ghost-hunting visitor years ago that Jay forgot to throw out).

“Where am I? Who turned off the lights? And why is everything so... transparent?”

Sam organizes a search party. She uses the fraudulent Medium, Brenda, as a paranormal bloodhound. "If you're really psychic," Sam challenges, "find him. I'll give you five stars and a cookie." Brenda, sensing a chance to redeem herself (and get the cookie), actually concentrates.
