Gmail’s filtering system is robust, often protecting users from spam and phishing. However, this system can sometimes work too well, preventing you from receiving important emails from trusted senders. Conversely, you may have accidentally blocked a contact and need to reverse the action.

Look through the top list for rules containing the sender's email.
Past emails sent while the user was blocked will not automatically move to the Inbox. You must manually move them.

If you still have an email from the blocked sender in your Spam or Trash folder, use this quick method: Open in your web browser. Locate and open an email from the blocked sender.
